I love how the acrylic reflects so nicely that you can stand looking at one side and see three sides of the tank!

Added a Nori Cube feeder

Today I added an acrylic cube to feed Nori (seaweed) to my Kole Tang. I was surprised that the male mystery wrasse was first to attack it and basically kept the other fish away for the first 15 minutes or so. The rhomboid wrasses were next up to the cube and finally the Tang. The Tang was surprisingly shy but after a few hours was hitting on regularly. The green chromis are not interested at all. The Tang seems much more happier with something green to gnaw at. The male mystery wrasse and kole tang now seem to be best buddies.

Thanks Matt! Now I am freaking a bit!!! My skimmer pump (Euroreef RC250) only a couple months old just died today! Euroreef said they are sending another one out but I hate not skimming 24/7. I wonder how much detritous buildup will I get?

You're right... for the record now, 12 fish (pair of mystery wrasse, pair of rhomboid wrasse, kole tang, six green chromis, and a watchman goby). 5 shrimp (two cleaner, one blood, one pistol and one red pistol). As for coral, several SPS assorted frags, hammerhead, crown leather, and several nice zoo colonies and a few ricordia florida and yumas. Still a fairly barren tank but taking it slow. My worry is my newly acquired $$$ mated pairs of wrasses! I know they are hardy but I just don't want to be jerking around the water quality.

Mark ,your tank looks great,,very nice pics,
wo skimmer you should be fine for day or two,,i 'm without skimmer for 5 days during power outage i'm still ok,,try for wet skimm for 2days after you get the new one then turn it back down to normal,,just to get it kick start again.

Thanks Dang... your comments are reassuring! Your frags are all doing great except I think I caused a little stress on the red pocillipora when i finally mounted it and moved it higher in the tank on Sunday. I will try to post a pic tomorrow but there is a 'bleached' area near the base on one of the two 'branches' that is rather large. I noticed it this morning and am monitoring it. Maybe I gave to too much light too quickly... or maybe the glue caused the damage... I don't know?

Okay still waiting on the skimmer pump... Euroreef says it shipped Monday. I need it bad! I am heading out of town for one week tomorrow night. Now I think I might be scrambling for a temp back up!!!

Hope you get a pump or "the" pump in time Mark! Bummer on the other one that went bad...On the brighter side though your tank looks great with the added rock!! That will be really nice when you get it all stocked up:)

Thanks Krish, yes I am happy with the added rock. It really completes my reef up to near the top of the overflow. The SPS will do the rest. I am now begging to borrow a skimmer as UPS didn't show today.

i know im a page behind, but dang! look at the belly on that mystery wrasse (previous page), thats what i would look like if i were a fish;) ...too bad a fat fish = healthy fish, and a overweight person =.... whatever im done

nice tank=) i like how there are multiple viewing areas.. cant wait to get that coraline really growing=)

Hey Mark - so what's your secret on keeping the acrylic scratch free. do you have a special cleaning regimine/special tools you could share with us?

Also.. anything you'd change about your bottom up CL config now that it's all said and done? It looks pretty sweet- nice clean

And last question is about the rock racks- How do you like them? any complaints? feedback? etc.
