Indeed, i was basing what i said off of the Marinedepot description. Seemed like the way the Korallin reactor was built is to spill almost little to no co2 into the water column. I know little to nothing about reactors but the description on this one drew my attention as almost all others say ph probe required etc..

Sid,

Why don't you stop by next time you head out to barbies and take a look at the CR Matt built for me. I can explain how it works based on what Matt has told me.

Oh, I am familiar with why and how a Calcium Reactor works. I'm just not that familiar with the operation of each different type of brand. I have thought about dripping effluent into a cup and using a PH controller, hooked to the Co2 regulator solenoid. We'll see if that is in the future. Until then, I'll regularly and often, test the pH, as I get it dialed in. I also have the effluent dripping into skimmer chamber of Sump, to help drive off the effects of the Co2.

Oh and James, I have some Chaeto. I'm sure I could bag up a handful for you.

Just took a FTS. Unfortunately, the only lighting is the actinics. I'll get some full light ones tomorrow.

We had our SRS meeting at our home last night. Standing room only, for about 3 hours. It was a great time. Anyway, the topic was photography and lots of people brought cameras. We actually have a separate thread set up for all of last night's photos, http://www.reeffrontiers.com/forums/showthread.php?p=487859#post487859 However, Estanoche brought over her underwater video camera and took a few short videos. I thought I'd go ahead and post them in this thread...ummm, if Flickr lets me.

Hmmm someone else chime in. Can you see the videos? I edited the post to get rid of something that was added when I embedded and that might have been a mistake, though they still show up and play for me. Scott is this any better? This time I'll leave what I removed from above.
