Feeding Frenzy!!

6 of the 10 fish in our tank LOVE algae. I thought I'd take some pics of a feeding, thought it's much better to see in person. I kept the focus on the algae, so in some of the pictures, some fish may be out of focus. This was easier than attempting to focus on individual fish as they dash in and out...lol.

When the algae first goes in the tank, the first few bites release tons of air bubbles, so sorry for the bubbles. Then there's lots of specks of algae floating around, distracting the rest of the pictures too...lol.

Tank is looking great Mike.

My tank looks just like that at feeding time.My rabbit is usaully the first to go up and rip a big chunk off. Then the sailfin goes up and takes it out of the rabbits mouth then they share it back and forth taking it from each other.Really a fun thing to watch

lookin great michael! I think I even recognize some of the corals:) Keep the pics comin' I think I have been inspired to start a tank setup thread!

Tracy, you should recognize some of those corals!! LOL. Even the very first SPS I ever got is in there, and from you. The Orange M. cap. Looking forward to reading your tank build thread!!

Thanks all for your comments!! I don't know why the vid is working for some and not for others!! Wonder if it has to do with web browsers. I use Mozilla and stay as far away from IE as possible...lol. Or, I wonder if it has to do with having or not having a Flickr acct...or even a Yahoo acct, since Flickr is owned by Yahoo. Here are direct links to the videos.

vids

The videos worked for me the first time. Odd since my PC is flaking out and I have to run it in safe mode to even access it.
They looked great!

Guess what?? More pics!! As if you couldn't figure that one out on your own!!
Sorry, photography is my second hobby, just as addictive, and you all get to reap the rewards....or suffer the rewards, depending on how you look at it...as long as you look at it!!

Here's a couple that we got from Adam and Crystal recently.

Grrr, I guess I haven't got a pic of it yet. I'll have to remedy that soon.

And now just a few pics I felt like taking this morning.

A gorgeous Maricultured Acropora colony that's a bit ticked off at me for just moving it.

And finally, our beloved Black Occellaris pair, in their Rose Bubble Tip anemone, though the male wouldn't hold still long enough to be photographed.
