what kind of food are you giving them dood?
be careful with your hammer because it can stings your corals with its sweepers tentacles.

I am using a mix of Fauna Marin foods. Ultra min F, Ultra Clam, Ultra Life Mixed with Ultra Min S and a drop of Ultra Booster. I mix enough for a week and I am good to go. This may sound like a lot. But I really don't use a lot at a time for my size tank. I have been doing this a month and haven't used more than a 1/4 of each container. And have had no spike in parameters at all so far.

As for the Hammer, Well my Acro fell on my hammer and one branch got stung. It turned white halfway down the branch. It has since gotten its color back and has the polyps extending from the blue tip again. I have had it 4 weeks or so now. My Monti has grown more than 1/2" in the past 4 weeks. So I think my system is doing pretty good. Only time will tell.

That's good the Acro's branch is made a come back. Keep the updates coming!

LOL Hey Krish I think you need to come and take a swim in my pond. You will be glad to go swimming in your frigged 78 degree winter ocean paradise. Maybe you will see our beloved moose taking a dip to get away from the black flies and mosquito's. :)

ahhhh that sounds like an awesome idea.... but then i don't knwo, i think the moose would confuse krish with grass and then Krish would be running around like a wild man

Only if that pond is heated:p

Well, I have an update for ya. I am taking my tank down. I have had it with this Haiti rock. After talking to many people in the hobby including Sanjay Joshi. The hair aglgae is being caused by my rock. And it's killing me. So I am switching out the rock and re-aquascaping.

Pics to follow.

The worst part is I have to put a peice back in my tank. My Anemone is on it :( Hopefully he will transfer himself soon.

The tank looks great! Don't worry about the rock being white...it will color up in no time! Looks like a great surface for coralline!
