I have a small algae problem. Mostly a brown slime algae. But is disapearing slowly.

No problem on the comments and you know the drill...The algae/diatoms will all go away I'm dying to start up a new tank to see if what I tried with my current setup wasn't a fluke, but I hardly got any form of algae in my main display at all with my setup while cycling. With running more watts per gal in my sump for a longer photo period, all the algae grew in my sump rather than in the tank because the conditions were better there for it. I use to have to vaccum out algae out of my sump weekly! Now, I only vaccum detritus and a thin film of algae on the sump walls...Very cool and neat!

It is, as I have been told from my LFS, a Metalic orange plate coral. Not a great pic. My tang just finished dive bombing it and made it retract a little LOL. I should look up and remember the scientific name of it. I just haven't had time.

Oh I think I could come up with something. Like, low calcium, no calcium reactor, more corals, a bigger tank, more flow for the bigger tank, more rock for the bigger tank, more money for the bigger tank....LOL

I have made it a rule for myself, I will not buy and coral unless it is from a fellow hobbiest. So it is going to go really slow. Also I am only buying very small frags...I want to watch them grow to my tank instead of having to work at keeping them back to the size of my tank. (well I'll have to do it later but atleast by then I'll have a frag tank.

Yup and a couple Acropora...I am hoping they do well...it has been 4 weeks since I have gotten them, they have been doing really well so far. Everytime I dose the food I have the polyps extend like crazy. The one you see in the blury pic fell off one of my shelves and onto my Pink Tonga Hammer, one branch went completly white, now is back to normal like the rest of the frag.
