Hi, im Ben and im from the hood in Tacoma WA. I love the water way too much. i am a divemaster thru PADI. i currently have been in aquariums 1.5 years ish. mostly fish, working on going reef. i started on a 24g biocube, then got another one. very shortly started up a 80g.soon followed by my current tank 180g. that i had a icecap 660 on now have 3, 400w mh. i have one more but the ballast gets worm and wont fire a light. so oh well, im at 6.6 watts per gallon.

Hey Ben,

Welcome to the Greatest Reef Site on Earth. LOL
What do you keep in your 180? Other than 1/2 your paycheck.

i only have the one tank. the others were how i got to the one i have. and what do you mean that i have it good?? i have a way to over-active cyno gland in the tank. that is not good... but should i have stopped the c-balance? i thought that it was aiding in the growth of cyno so i stopped.

i have

2x rbta
long tentical
2x scissor tail dart
2x tomato clown
perk clown
magnificent foxface
sailfin tang
big eyed squirrel
velintini puffer
coral beauty angel
potters angel
2x blue green chromis

sorry to any fish that i forgot about.

High flow will go a long way to clearing up cyano (and is also needed if you are planning on adding any SPS corals.) I'd imagine your cyano problem would disappear with a few large powerheads

i have put 2 marineland 1200 on a little after i put the lights up. previously had 1 up but my longtentical found his way into it, so i had it out. then re-added my protine skimmer.
