I think we should coin the name "yellow chewbaca". I like it and we definately could sell the frags for at least double with a name like that.;) I hope all of your corals and fish settle into the new tank nicely. I think you've suffered enough losses for the year.

Wow that Montipora Hispida I gave back to you sure has lightened up alot already. It was partially shaded in my tank so it stayed pretty dark, still looks good nonetheless. Remember, if that one happens to kick the bucket, I still have the other colony that's 4" across and still growing.

BTW, did that green Monti Cap make it? It didn't look too good, but it grows like crazy. I have some if yours didn't make it.

Cool clam I picked up from Jayson recently

If that is from Jayson/Driven911, I have the twin in my tank :)

Let me know if you are going to be down my way and you can take home a chunk of the tort you sent me via Jan. Your setup is looking good!

"It's growout time!"

Sounds like a plan to get him down this way. Perfect= I need to make some room BAD. I also will find him some stuff. The only prob is, I think I could run short on bags LOL.
Is that birdsnest pink W/purple pups. If so I would like some :D

PS Looking good. Are you running just T5s

Hey Dan - thanks my man -totally agree about grow out time. I've been dailing back in my kalk reactor and so far seem to be able to keep up with the calcium/alkalinity demand. I'll keep my fingers crossed that I'm able to keep up when things get bigger. about the clam - yes indeed, that's the one from Jayson/Dailydriven911 - I love it. Awesome that you have the twin. I may take you up on that offer for a little nub of that cali here sometime soon. I want to get a couple new bulbs though first. Torts seem to do the best in pretty intense light and I think my 12k reeflux's are pretty much maxed at 8 mos. Thank you for the offer.

Tracy - hmm... you need room, and I need corals and have plenty of bags. Sounds like a match made in heaven if you ask me :p:p:p:p he he. We'll have to hook up here soon.

That birdsnest is pink w/ pink polyps. It's from Duane's tank. A very very nice specimin with great color and a really cool growth pattern. You're welcome to a piece if you like. Just let me know and I'll bring some down with me next time I'm down that way.

Right now, I'm running the following for lights:
2 250W single end 12k reefluxs - as mentioned above, I think they've reached their max though.,
2 10k T5s
4 Actinic t5s

Thanks everyone else for the compliments.

Any updates or new pics?

Hey Luis.. got some new one's for ya.. Rick came over to my house last week and was nice enough to shoot some really neat one's. He's created a new thread in the photography forum. Here's a link: http://www.reeffrontiers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=29722

Things are going well though. conditions seem stable. corals and fish are happy. My top off is acting up on me a bit - may need to take it apart and see what's going on, but there seems to be a short of some sort. Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't. I changed from 12k reefluxes to 10ks and man are things a lot brighter.

I'm babysitting a bunch of Jesse's corals at the moment and the tank looks nice and full. my wife commented to me yesterday as she was pointing at his open brain "you mean that one's not your's, that's my favorite"... ha ha.. Jesse - you may have to pry her arms away from a couple of these when you come to pick them up (kidding of course) :p:p:p

That red lobo that Rick pictured in the thread is mine..:):) there is another one though with some cool pinks and greens not pictured (yet) that's Jesse's.:D

Doh! Why can't it be a fraggable coral thats her favorite :( Can't wait to see the rest of the photo shoot! If #31 is my blue stag, its really enjoying your tank! I rarely got PE like that during the day.

Ben,

Where did you get the red lobo? I would like to add one to my tank.
Kirk

Picked it up in a trade a couple years back from a gal in Bellevue. she was getting out of the hobby. The good news is though that I beleive these are somewhat common. hope you find what you're looking for :)

ha ha.. yeah.. I'm excited too. And yes, that's your baby blue Bob Moore stag there in #31-nice specimin indeed. if you think that thing has PE, you should see your chips mili - holy macral that thing is a hairy beast. :D:D:D

Those are some nice pic Ben... I see the Hippo with the chaw in it's bottom lip is doing well.. :)

Who.. Katie - my blue hippo? ha ha...yeah.. she's doing well and yes, still got the chaw... ha ha.. Chewing I've heard is coming back in style for ladies though - just hopes she kicks the habit soon...

You mean that open brain ISN'T yours??? Oh man....that was my favorite too.... :p:lol:

Hey Jan - thought you'd like to know that #27 (yellow hairy acro) and #29 (a tip of R2D2) are yours...:)

Nice pics.

Love your new real time ticker BTW. Ill gladly trade in my tank shot sig for one of those. :D
