Jiddy's 220g MASTERPIECE!

Well after 15years of wantin one, 3 long months of learnin about them, and buyin 3 differant tanks to use for one, I am offically ready to start the wonderful hobby of SaltWater Keepin and Reefin'

Well i picked up my 220 AGA today, came with a stand, some VHO's mounted on canopy, sump, return pump, 2 HOB overflows, Seio PH and a heater

The salt, test kits and base rock our all on their way and the RO/DI Unit has made 100gallons of 0 TDS water, im almost ready, everythin is sittin in vinegar waitin to be scrubbed before the wife okays it to come in the house :doubt:

Can you put tanks that big on thier side to move around corners?

Yeah, I'd just make sure there are at least 2 people. Use a carpet or something to keep from getting scratches in it!! Good luck, I know what my 300 weighed!!!!!

Woohoo! Awesome Jiddy. I can't wait to see you put this thing together. Don't forget to do a fresh water test before you put in your RO/DI water. You never know - and doing a leak test is always a good idea.

Hmmm....some kind of canister filter? Looks like there are 2 spots to hook up water...for an input and output. Have you opened it yet?

If your talking about the third picture its a fluval style canister filter

Yeah, that's a magnum HOT filter. I love using mine with the micron filter to spot clean diterus and for cleaning the sump.

Thanks everyone for the help/encouragement! I will be scrubbin it today after i take my test, what is the best way to get water out of this thing when im done cleanin it? Someone said use a wetVac, where do i get one of those?

You can get a wet/dry vac at Lowes or Home Depot. That's super exciting about your tank!
