I have to run out for a few, but if you guys have any more questions on my methods or comments throw them out and I'll reply when I get back. In any event, like I've said before, my method and setup is different from almost everyone's here... I have an advantage because of where I live. I always push people to quaretine their fish and corals and do things the way it was taught to us all though, but personally, I choose a different approach for various reasons (definately more ways to skin a cat in this hobby:) ). In any event, I don't have much to lose. My corals are all free and I have but 4 main rocks in my tank I could possibly lose. My tank crashing would hurt quite as much as it would someone else who had to pay top dollar for the things they have. I'm in no way being careless though because everyone knows my OCD pushes me for excellence and I've had pretty good results thus far. Anything I see going downhill, I put back in the ocean where it belongs. No harm done:)

Well, my new pendant and new 14K Hamilton will be delivered to my people in Florida tomorrow so I should have them real soon. I just took the last shots under my 10K's of a few things I haven't been able to get good shots of yet. That ricordia rocks!!! I thought it was a carpet anemone, but anyways it rocks!!! I'm going for more! I just added him back into the main tank today as he was living on that rock in my overflow until he attached himself well enough to handle the flow so here are some pics. New ones will be up after I install the new lights.

excellent lookin rock man. there are soo many variations of that really neat lookin green color that I am totally going to aspire for in my tank! how bout some full tank shots soon, I haven't seen the whole tank yet.

Thanks Tony! Here's a full shot from tonight:)

Thanks Gabbs...You have to have eagles eyes to see them when swimming because some of them like mine are so small:p

Krish it just keeps getting better. I need to get motivated like you and get off my arse and take some pics of my tank.

LOL! Yeah...I got ton of motivation:p Can't wait to get this new new pendant and bulb up over the tank. I hate this extremely white color. You can't even see all my corals in the tank through the pics as a result. Aw well...at the latest Friday I will have it mounted hopefully:)

BTW, I almost lost my 10K XM as well. I got that one wet doing a water change last night and immediately shut it off, took it out and cleaned it. So far no cracks:)

I hear you on the bright light. I have 10k over my tank and i really am not crazy about it. I want to switch to 20ks or even 14s to get more of a blue look.

I still have a lot of life left in my bulbs so i reall y don't want to buy new bulbs until these are dead and gone. I started using them in May so they should be good for another 7-8 months. I could just change em out and hold on to these but whats the point they will just get forgotten or lost and it would be a waste of money.

LOL...I bought that 10K XM, fired it up and 5 mins later, put it in the cupboard. I didn't forget about it though because when that 12K Reeflux cracked, I had it to use in it's place:)

Hey, Krish, Shallow, Have you taken a look at the XM 15k. I just got some and have to admit I like the color. I did have XM 10k's

Hey James...I looked at getting them, but the 14K Hamilton's were recommended to me to try. Wo knows, I may buy them as well (15K XM)because I have been really impressed with all of their bulbs I've had so far the 10K is just to bright for me, but I love the fact that they are white and not yellow. If only I had space for actinics I would have left it, but the space I have, will only support pc's and not very high wattage ones either:)
