micro bubbles from closed loop system

Microbubbles are now gone. Got the locline submersed and that appears to have fixed the problem. Thanks everyone for your help.

Hello! I recently installed an SCWD and am also having problems with bubbles! Produces as many bubbles as my skimmer! Would like to ask if the problem cleared up after a couple of weeks! Also the bubble production is erratic-ö sometimes more, sometimes less. Any information would be appreciated!

After I submersed the loclin the bubbles declined a great deal. They were still there and like your situation were intermittantly worse at times. This problem has cleared up quite a bit over the last couple weeks and is now pretty much not a factor at all. Apparently the "slime" has built up on the new pvc. Hope this helps.

You basically have to check all joints prior to the pump and after the pump, if you have bubbles its going to be coming from one of those.

Does your bubble problem stop when you remove the SCWD?

Hello! The "bublle-problem" is only with SCWD. It is separate from everything else! Perhaps it will clear up in a couple of weeks! I have sealed all connectons and can't imagine where the bubbles are coming from! Time will tell!
