Looking forward to seeing everything up and running by Monday!!! :D. Good luck and I hope you don't run into any surprises! :)

Thanks! I have this nagging suspicion something is going to hold us up but... well now I just jinx'd myself

Mr gone great work so far. I've been working on a similar build as well just not as high end of equipment. My question is what our u doing for ventilation? I saw u mention that u wanted to put a TV in the room but that could lead to issues if There isn't proper ventilation. Looking forward to your response.

We used a Fantech CVS300A, I'm not sure if it is going to be enough but its just going to take some time to figure it out. It will also be a while before we get a TV in that room but I don't think it will be a problem. I've had my 150g in the family room for over a year and the only problem comes from the stink when I empty the protein skimmer ;)

Also keep in mind the plan is to eventually build cabinetry all around the tank and the fan vents to the exterior of the house. I am mounting all of the lighting ballasts on the other side of the wall to help keep them cooler and to make the area above the aquarium less cluttered.

Ok so I started filling the 125 gallon tanks today! All of the plumbing will be finished tonight (almost there, just have two holes left to drill in the top of the left most sump for the main overflow piping of the 125g tanks, and then two holes in the wall for some extra pipes to go out into the garage for future use).

I expanded my RO/DI machine to fill this setup, I added a second RO canister and membrane and DI chamber and resin to my Puratek unit. This is temporary to fill the tanks, these parts are actually for the RO/DI setup I'm building for my Dad's office (should have just bought a second Puratek).

the towel is because I had just changed the filters :) The blue tubing are the output tubes. When all said and done the RO/DI machine will be relocated to under the right side of the aquarium stand, I just haven't gotten to that point yet.

A bit of organized chaos while we finish plumbing and start filling the tanks

I tried to do a panorama style shot to give you guys a better idea of the sump design/flow. I couldn't get the far right side but that is where the 210g and 75g flow into (the refugium is the far right tank and it flows to the left through the 55g tanks to the 40 breeder return pump tank)

These are on the bottom right hand side of the 55 gallon tanks. The refugium has 3 outlets, one for each 55g and one that bypasses them and goes to the 40g breeder pump tank. These are drains for performing water changes. The two 55g tanks can be filled then "disconnected" from the system to perform a water change and prepare new water while the rest of the system continues to operate. These head outside the house. If I need to use a chiller I will use these lines to also feed/return from the chiller.

These are on the right side of the left most sump, the top bulkheads are ones I drilled, the bottom are existing from an old setup (this sump is the sump out of my Dad's tank in his office). These ports head to the garage for later expansion to the system.

Between the tanks and all the equipment everything fits perfectly

Small to-do list ;)

I estimate it will take 3 days to fill the system, I'm about 18 hours into it so far.

Really your tank room is amazing and leaves me wanting one. It seems as alot of thought and effort is going into this. We all know what is the product of a little planning and thinking, a well designed piece of machinery. Your room looks awesome.

Thank you got all the compliments guys! I moved the live stock over today. I still need to shuffle everything around but I wanted to get my 150 gallon ready for the buyer to come pick up.

Most of the fish are hiding. The lighting setup is temporary, I am planning on making lumenbright 3 style reflectors.

So I'm thinking my bed will fit between the RODI and the tanks... When can I move it in?

That's an awesome idea haha! Actually my plan was to put a couch in the room but I have quite a bit to do before that point.

I added my first new fish today, picked it up from Barrier Reef Aquariums (a local LFS)

WOW!! Awesome fish room, so much real estate to play with. I would never get out of that room, rest of the house would be neglected.

It's really coming out top notch MrGone:rockon:
You won't be sorry with the lumen bright reflectors either. I have had great success with both the pendants and the retros.

Thanks for all the compliments guys! I still feel like there is a lot to do, but tonight I spent two hours transferring corals around. I wasn't terribly happy with the aquascape at first but the fish like the caves and the corals just kind of fell into place so now its only a matter of time! :D
