Thanx for the compliments people, they are appreciated.
Test results for this week are as follows:
temp-77
salinity-33\
Ph-8.31
Alk-8.4 dkh
Ca-420
Mg-1380
Would anyone buy into the theory that maybe some of the inaccuracy of the Salifert Mg tests could be related as to how far the little pink attachment on the 1ml measurer is pushed up on the plastic unit itself???? If you look back at my Magnesium readings going back as far as the first of this year, they have varied 1410 to 1320. My first test this morning was over 1500, and I sat back and said WHAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I have not added Mg to the tank since the readings were around 1320 at the beginning of March. I did a little looking around, and adjusted the 1ml. thing, and lo and behold, the reading went back to 1380.
Now, ok, I can see where some might think I am just playing around, and trying to make the readings look alike, so I tested a third time and it was 1380 again. Anybody got any ideas????
