Got a few things done today.
I'm am going to reuse a few things with the new tank.
Got the inside of the stand cleaned out.
Didn't take much. When I built it, I lined the bottom with a pvc sheeting I get from work.
It's .016" thick, but is pretty tough.
8 years of saltwater on it didn't do anything to it.
The caulking and the staples I used to hold it down with got a little rusty so a quick coat of rustoleum and good as new.

Well, it's getting close now.
I'm lining up people to help with the move.
Think I have 5, waiting to hear from atleast one more and it'll be on!

Hey, so how did the tank move in work? hope it happened without any problems. Looking forward to seeing pics.

you guys didnt take pics during the move! You know he's probably pretty busy or beat and asleep by now.

First thing I have to thank the guys that helped me yesterday.
Chad ( reeferman0690), Devin ( 1guydude), Carlos ( seedlessinseattle), Marlin, ( marlimero), and daughter Missy, and her husband Larry.

The move was perfect. Could not have gone better.

We could have done without so much rain. With the tank getting wet like it did, made the suction cups I borrowed from OBD useless.
But we just picked it up and walked in and put it on the stand.
It was done in seconds.

At that hour, you better believe I was asleep. lol

After I drove Carlos back up to OBD and returned the equipment I borrowed, drove home ( 200+ miles with 2 trips north).
I was kind of tired.
But then just as I got home, Marlin called me and asked me if I could help him move some saltwater from a truck to his second floor apartment.
Marlin bought some premade saltwater from a guy ( fishoutofwater). Approx. 230 gallons
After a bunch of trips up the stairs with 5 gallon buckets of water, I was done for the day.

My tank moving crew. Thanks guys

and my son-in-law Larry.
He really doesn't like people to take pictures of him, but he is a great guy.

I look at the tank and my back hurts just thinking about it .

Between the tank and moving water yesterday I am moving very slow this morning.
I tried a couple pictures of the tank, but with the back wall being black and glossy, it raises hell with the camera
