The longer your system runs, it seems you know "sounds". Same with "looks". How long do you think it will take you to get to know this system Marty?

IDK. I'm going with a closed loop with a reeflo dart/snapper and I have not used one before, so there will be new sounds to tune into.

You wont hear much from that pump. Those reeflo's are quiet.

did you get the return drilled yet?

I do have to say that the people over at Lowes are getting use to seeing me.
I think I have gone on pvc fitting runs at least once a day ( sometimes twice) over the last week.

i love going into hardware store when i plumbing a tank. you always have that guy that works there that thinks he knows how to fix everything. i always tell them i got it. i don't need any help. they always say. give me a shot. i say okay its for my saltwater tank. that stumps them every time. lol. Marty keep up the good work. looking sweet.

Devin I don't see anything rude:)

Yeah, they get that glazed look in their eyes.

I tend to measure the size of a project by how many trips to lowes I think I'm going to make. 5 less than the estimate means success! (and you guys should try the plumbing aisle as a chick.. not when I'm in tank dredging clothes, but when I stop after work... they have lead before with 'Here with your husband?'...)

LOL! hmmm. they didnt ask me that. of course I was there in my, as you call them, tank dredging clothes splotched with purple pvc cement primer.
But yeah, when you tell them its for the saltwater tank, its "well let me know if there is anything we can do to help and they walk off". Actually I had one person that was really nice and wanted to help. But out of the 30 times I was in the plumbing isle, that was it.

Hey Marty keep up the good work, all I can say you got a nice tank. Good news. I was able to catch my Coral beauty on the second day. My very few remaining sps corals thank you
