Those back drilled holes look both scary and awesome to me . I am thinking about all the strength that is removed from those holes.

I am curious as I have an 180 AGA with only 5 holes drilled in it running well but i've always wondered just how much strenth is lost ?

None at all, Physically glass can withstand allot on its own, but with bulkheads taking the place it will not suffer any loss at all. Plus its a pretty shallow tank , it will hold no problem.

Sorry have been really busy starting this new buisness, Tank took a backseat for a bit. Iam currently making the stand. Have everything figured out, I will have pics shortly. Got my CL pump a while back. Its a Reeflo Barracuda. Will give me approx 400 GPH per outlet. And it will have spray bars behind the rock, Still debating on whether to get a MBV. But I want to further my study on it to determine if it will really be needed.

Iam making this stand to withstand earthquakes. You will see what I mean after I post the pics. I will be building 2 Curio cabinets for each side of the tank. They will have girders spanning the length, this is how I plan to hang my Lumenarcs. I want the tank to appear as a wall unit. Any suggestions while its still apart?

Everything sounds good to me Bob! I wondered what you've been up to!(LOL) Still tagging along...Good luck with the new business and the continuation of the tank's progress:)
