Im still figuring out why my corals is still not as colorful as everybody....
I figured before that i have a very clean tank..meaning that i dont feed that much and skimmer is too big for tank....

Now I try to feed heavy and no skimmer.

Lets see...

Thanks Charlie. The rock is from Tonga. I've got a lfs that gets big pieces all the time. I've got 2 pretty good size ones in there.

I know it's only been a week, but is that stuff starting to show any coralline growth? Did you try and seed the new rock with any coralline from your old stuff?

Chuck, what do Charlie mean about only a week? or Charlie, what do you mean a week? Did he upgraded his tank? or something major happened?

Cesar,
Chuck tore his tank apart and replaced the rock completely. He is at ground zero again.

I kept a lot of rock in after my big crash, rock that was in the tank when I had the DSB ... The coral would touch the rock and instead of encrusting the rock, it would die off ... Lots of bubbles growing from inside outward ... just a lot of crud in that rock, so started the rock work from scratch

My 125 reef is one year old this month so i thought i would post a pic here. i have been fighting hair algae for a long time but other than that the tank is doing great.

Thanks. The bottom right is green star polyps and the left end of the tank is my large frogspawn.
