Where are the updates, about to go to the house and check to make sure you didn't get get sucked into you 200lb boost turbo that you were installing. Hope all of that went smooth.

waiting for the sump to come in truvu said first week of june so i cant wait just picked up a 12g tank for my fuge. thanks floyd. nope car is in the shop getting tuned so i can drive the beast...lol with out it blowing up. hopefully no small children hang out near my front bumper for fear that they will get sucked in..

grats on the sump. I know how it feels to be waiting for 1 piece of equipment before you can fill it up.

What, sump party at Justins house. Is that what I heard. Fill that beast with some ICED Milwaukee's Beast and I will be there.

Ha man, glad to here you got a sump finally. Party at your house? That’s the buzz on the street I hear. Bet you can’t wait to get some water in that thing.

Dude, WHere are the pics at. Hope all went well with the plumbing yesterday. Let me know if you need help with anything.

so i got it all plumbed and leaked check. did a simulated power failure and yeah sump is not large enough to support the back flow. tried drilling siphon breaks no luck so now im in waiting again i purchased 2 check valves for each side of the return.

thanks took me the better part of the morning figuring how i was going to run the pump i know i didnt want the pump in the stand again like my last tank. got a bit salty lol.

Everything looks great so far!! Ever thought about putting ball valves on the 2 return lines after the "Y" coming from the pump? Might come in handy if you need to fine tune the flow going to the sea swirl and scwd... Just a thought! Good luck!! :)

yeah i need to there is way too much flow in there right now but s fine for now because i dont have anything in it right now so maybe next week i will tear into it and put some vales on it

Dude I have a clown fish and some corals in my sump if you want to come and pick them up. Let me know.

yeah im gonna let the tank settle out for a bit before i put anything in it. i need to get that sand back from you so i can seed my sand. i have duty all weekend

Nice! If you do, try getting some union ball valves...They will make life so much easier if you ever need to disconnect the pump for cleaning. I ran them on the suction and returns of all of my external pumps. If I ever had a problem, I just un-plugged the pump, close all ball valves (intake and return) and the pump could easily be removed. Then, when it is time to start the pump back up, you would not need to re-prime anything. Just screw the unions back together, re-open all the valves and plug it in :)
