    Vanderbilt Chromis Offer

The guy I was snagging these from has put his order in already. I declined to get the chromis at this time though. I was hoping for a bigger shipment up north here. He said if we can get something together later, just to let him know. This was from a connection that I had down in LA.

Forgot to mention... Extremely peaceful chromis, just like the Green Reef Chromis. These do not have Damsel attitudes. :D

    Vanderbilt Chromis Offer

I have someone down in LA that is willing transact a deal with a shipper out of Hawaii to send me some Vanderbilt chromis. They are going for $12 ea plus shipping. I am picking up 15 myself. They will be sent next day air from Hawaii to Seattle directly, so ship cost is a little high. If there...

But after hearing in college that they don't get paid well unless they're researching bacteria DNA or some other...

    What does everyone do?

Damn Kate, I never imagined someone would shell out $20 for a guppy, and then pay $30 on top of that to have it shipped to them.

Thanks for the invite everyone. Really enjoyed meeting most of you. Will be waiting for the next meeting. I'll have to beg for more for frags next meeting. I didn't get around to that this time. Thanks Dave for the live rock. Really filled up my future SPS island well. I spent a good time...

    Acrylic Scraps in Seattle?

I need to create an internal overflow to house a gravity sump pump. Looks like this: I've asked several acrylic shops in the Seattle if they could do it at a reasonable price or if they had scraps I could buy at a per lb rate. I haven't recieved any responses.... Anyone know of a good...

    Kahuna & Indoor cohosting PSAS

Well yes and no. You can put them on a wavemaker, but the prop will wear out faster. Each time the pump restarts, it may kick into a stopper to make sure that it starts the right direction. If you're continually stopping and starting it, it'll wear the prop and you'll loose effectiveness/might...

I've made 4 of the mods so far. I dont need another, but I can help show people what to do if you all want. Better than sitting around watching people have fun tinkering. :) Or maybe that'll be a good distraction while I clear out Barry's livestock before anyone else gets a chance. :p
