It's some kind of blenny. Has the body type of a Striped blenny. He's about 2 inches long. Mostly grey, pink tail, blue markings on his face, big mouth.

    Safe Or Not

I don't know what the heck it is but I would say, if it's still in your sink, you're safe!!!

    Swimming sandsifter....

My new sandsifter hovers about 2 inches above the sandbed. While he is fabulous as far as cleaning the sand goes, he filters the sand on top of the corals that sit on the bottom of the tank. Is that bad for the corals?? Can they still send their tentacles out for feeding or does it "clog"...

    Huge zoo colonies......

Sorry to be ignorant but I'm a female and we're usually not allowed to use exacto knives, lol!!! Anyway, cut the polyps off at their base, kind of like skinning an animal??? (Sorry for the gross example). Also,, is there an easy way to just cut the rock in half??

    Huge zoo colonies......

I have two huge zoo colonies that I want to make smaller so I can free up some tank space. Both pieces are covering rocks about the size of softballs. Is it possible to make these guys smaller without destroying the coral???

    Advice for Bubbletip Anemone's

I have 250 MH also and mine likes it hanging out under a rock ledge about 1/2 way up. I feed him silverslides 2 or 3 times a week. He hasn't moved since I put him in the tank (about a month ago). My cleaner shrimp dive in his face (?) when I give him fish. They try and steal it away but he...

I added this guy yesterday. He has not puffed up and is not sending out his tentacles yet. He's pretty flat still. Is he just possibly adjusting to his new environment????

    Green clove polyps

My green clove polyps were a pretty bright green when I first put them into the tank, now they are a light brownish with green highlights (sounds like a bad hair day). I had them towards the top of the tank then moved them down. (MH lights) What is the brown-out a sign of??? All water...
