    just keep in mind with the cheap chinese ones the ratings are off. 15000k means 14000k and they have to be replaced more ofthen that the nice $80 ones. I got the chinese ones for 4 months and still working great! good luck :)

    Just wondering why stores dont grow their own corals? If I had a mini coral farm in my house could i sell some frags to you guys? I have an empty room in my house and thinking about setting up a coral farm next fall!

    I'd say do it just to be safe. even a folded towel helps :)

    thanks for the suggestion. can those pumps be used externally? like in the picture?? I'm worried since its not submerged, it might get hot and burn out??? thanks again

    GEI works great and is safe even though the tube says "not for aquarium use" I have used it many times with no issues at all
