    Acrylic adhesive - which one is the best, reef-safe brand?

    We have an acrylic 110 tall that we'll be upgrading to as our display. The former owner had a hole in the center in the bottom that he used for a canister. We want to plug it and are wondering what the best, reefsafe acrylic adhesive for the task. Any advice?:becky:

    Switching salts?

    I used to use Instant Ocean and switched to SeaChem Reef and love it. The softies and LPS seem to love it also - it dissolves fast and after testing between water changes it needs less supplementing than it used to with IO. I got a prime membership through Amazon so shipping is always free...

    How to catch a snapping shrimp

    Would a baited pop bottle trap get him? I used one to trap my peppermint shrimp - just put it in when the lights go out with a piece of silverside in it. It took an hour and a half - don't leave it overnight though if you have fish that will fit in it. You can use any rinsed plastic pop bottle.

    RBTA healing ?

    It takes a while for the mouth to get back to the center - keep the water clean and watch. The edges heal over pretty quickly and then they kind of turn in on themselves and the tentacles start branching and splitting, and they start to get bigger again. It's really neat to watch over time...
