I'd say even with the locking suction cup it won't hold very well in the long run as the caustic nature of salt water will kill the suction cup over time plus doesn't the fact that no LFS will carry them raise any red flags for you?

Something I know people have done with great success is to leave it in the bleach water, then add a strong acid the the same "tub". The acid of choice is usually vinegar (cheap) but it'll neutralize the bleach and then let air dry until its completely dry.
