Massive Reef Aquarium Fire Sale!
One of our servicing clients underwent an ownership change. The old owner left the new owner with a past due invoice for our services, a 750 gallon reef, a 150 gallon reef, multiple frag tanks, livestock, and tons of high-end equipment. In order to help the new owner get rid of it, and pay our old bill, we agreed to help them blow all this stuff out. Join us this Saturday (January 4th) from 10am – 4pm at Penny’s Salsa in Auburn. The address is 4718 B St NW # 102, Auburn, WA 98001. We will be there to assist the crew from Penny’s. Penny’s can only accept cash and all sales are “as-is.” Barrier Reef is only involved to help answer questions about the stuff for sale, and to aid in taking the systems apart as items are sold. wow, this is hard to believe, and sad. I have seen these tanks many times, I remember when the big one was installed and the custom back rock piece with the faces on them to hide the overflows. I thought that nomercymike was the caretaker of that system, didnt know BR was involved. Such a shame to see that huge tank taken down. Will be by Saturday to see whats up. Goodluck.

I knew as soon as I saw that pic that you would be on this one.
As for the black tang, thats an awesome fish but have read they are hard to keep.
That vlamingi and the other large tangs really need a big tank, hope someone doesnt try sticking any of tbese fish in a 90. I, ll call tbe tang police lol

HAHHAAHHA...yeah, well, I already have a red sea regal angel in QT for 5 wks that is doing great..I thought I would get another (red sea only) to pair it with...

from the markings it appears to be indo, and I will pass..

but some screaming deals to be had for sure...

I believe the tanks are built by Jason @ CFI so top notch tanks at great prices...

Black tangs are relatively easy to keep actually, but according to chatter on Facebook this one is a black/scopas hybrid, edited price is $200. I really want some of the fish/etc, but I think it's going to be a nightmare down there on Saturday and I don't want to add to everyones stress. I feel for you Cy, hope you guys can get this over with without putting in too many more hours.

Looks like it is going to be a crazy day down there Saturday. I know longer maintain that setup and have not in awhile now. Cy I hope the sale goes good for you guys. Im kinda glad Im not there as I dont have to deal with the crazy sale. The Black Tang is healthy the last time I saw it and the yellow tangs would sometimes pick on him but after awhile they were all a big happy family.

Went by penny's last night and helped them catch all the fish and put them in a separate tank. Cleaned sand out of 750 gal and put live rock with corals back in. Hope to have water cleared up for Sat. Was a 4 hour job. Happy fishing
