fragging a leather...

Anything recent likely would be as it seems we've totally lost the appreciation for the style and flash of things like chrome, and traded it for plastic..
Was in the car a while back with one of the nephews and we saw a K car go by. The young little brat (whom I love dearly) said 'hey look, and old timey car' *sigh* Seems the younger generations will have no idea that style ever existed.

Please................................ don't get me going here.......................OK ;).

Thought I'd follow up on this in case anyone cares.
So, I decided to go a bit back of the 'head' just to leave myself a little room to attach..
I got the frag kit out, and put everything on feed mode. Realized I should probably rinse the scissors as they had a bit of dust, so I headed for the sink and washed them off. Dried them and then the dog asked out. Let him out, tossed them both a bone, headed to the sink again to wash my hands from patting their heads... and got to it. No big deal I told myself, just a quick cut. Grabbed the scissors, and the frag plug, and got in position to cut. The INSTANT I cut, the pumps came back on. The piece I cut is no in no mans land, and I can't find it for the life of me.
So, I took a nice little chunk out of the actual leather, glued the living crap out of it onto the plug, and both have healed nicely since.. as a matter of fact, by the next morning, I couldn't tell where I had cut on the leather, and the frag had full polyp extension. Its going to its new home on Monday... and I can see a new head forming already on the cut piece.

I kind of figured that would be the case also. And I don't care where it shows up, but I would prefer it did though, even if it is where I don't want it. Hardy or not, on purpose or not, these animals are in 'my charge', and I take it personally when I lose one.

found it! it attached to a small rock in the sand... gonna move it up to the frag rack tonight.

i was all excited when i spotted it...i know the frag rack probably isn't as good as the car bumper, but it'll have to do for now.

When fragging a green tree leather, would you cut directly across the "branch" or would you cut at an angle leaving a lot more exposed?

Hello,
It makes little difference as they grow so quickly. Both parts will grow just fine without an advantage either way.

Cheers,
Kevin
