Thanks it's still a work in progress and I moved a couple things around last night so it looks a bit different, probably only to me though...

So this weekend I'm going to treat for rb and possibly go bb...I'm going to take everything out of the tank and seperate the corals and l/r from the fish and inverts. I'm not sure if I want to do a 1/2" or less sand bed or go bb. Thinking about re-aquascaping as well but I'm afraid it may look even worse than before. I'm going to empty the tank and do clean it all up. Add l/r rubble and more cheato to the second chamber acting as a refugium and possibly mod the pump if at all possible. Hopefully all goes well and I don't have any serious losses. Any thoughts on the bb idea?

:shock: one minute your going full blast the next your tearing it down and starting over!? I’m not sure about bb but Ive heard mixed fillings just like everything else. There is a guy on NR that has a Solana with a bb "ezcompany" it looks pretty slick with the black stand under the tank. Make sure you post some pictures if you do the fuge and pump upgrade- Ive thought about those as well. Good luck man and I'm sure the outcome will be even better

Yep I need something to do...:lol: I'll be taking plenty of pics during and after the process just for fun. I'm leaning toward a 1/2" s/b just for looks. I'll check ezcompany's thread out....thanks! I've finalized plans for a sump/refugium that will fit under the stand as well just need to get it built. Then I'll add a tunze 9010 skimmer, overflow, mag 5 return pump and possibly change my lighting but that's aways out...

Ok so I'm pissed! While changing over to a bb tank I lost my fourline wrasse, falco hawkfish, fire shrimp and gold maxima clam!!! I did not have a powerhead running in the tub and was wondering if that's the problem? Or possibly the anenome stung them? Stress? I'm confused and I'm still waiting for my tank to heat up...sorry I just had to vent
