Great looking sump
Sweet! Good thinkin!
So how does the tank look now. post some pics. Petco finally got more 40b in so i bought 2 today. now im looking at glass holes for the overflow. How are you likeing your's?
opps nevermind i just reread the last page. So taking everyother tooth out helped with the pump.
Is that sump at a safe water level incase of a power outage? Other than that looks like a great build.
As I see it i have 3 problems.
Problem #1 if the power goes out and I'm not around the water syphons back down to the sump via the return pump nozzles. I think if i can find a 3/4" back flow preventer I can solve that problem.
I got my 3/4" Check Valve from Marine Depot, works great! Started out with one from the hardware store but it was spring loaded and not effective as the spring rusted fast and stayed open...definitely go with the flapper style.
Looking good Jesse! Lets see some more pics! =) How come the zoas were dying in the BioCube? =( Not enough light?

I bet those will even end up looking better under your lighting. Wait until the red with teal colors up! My middle MH ballast went out and that is why it is a little darker than normal. Glad you like them. If there is something you don't like, feel free to sell/trade.
wow looking good. hows the sump looking?
