My new Nano!!!

LOL Brandy, I'll answer this one for her. The future Tailspot Blenny is WHY she bought the Nano. The first time she ever saw one, she fell in love with them and HAD to have one. All of Blazer's amazing pictures of his Tailspot Blenny didn't help any. I'm sure Angie will respond as soon as she gets home, but I had to beat her to it and tease her about her several hundred dollar Tailspot Blenny...lol.

Oh and since I'm teasing her, don't tell her that I forgot I was filling an RO/DI bucket, until a few minutes ago....and that's why there's towels on the floor!!!

Lol, at least it was just a few minutes. My husband forgot for several hours before. It required tearing up our new carpet, replacing the pad and renting a carpet dryer.

Here's out first fish pics!! Picked this beautiful Percula clownfish up at Barbie's. The orange is sooo vivid!! Of course, Madison immediately named it "Cootie." No idea where she came up with that, but she specifically said that she didn't want to name it "Nemo." Good Girl!!

Brandy, to answer your question about the Tail spot Blenny. Yes it will the home of one as soon as funds allow for one. The Clown fish was a total suprise and we were forced to bag it and take it home....lol. We want to buy about 5 sexy shrimp to go in there too and maybe a goby and shrimp pair. Not sure yet about that though.

Angie, you have an awesome tank. And that clown is perfect. Very glad to see all your pictures. Mike - you are the best!

Thank you Gary and Nicole!! When I saw that clown it was the most vivid out of 3 of them and I really wanted it. I can't wait to finish stocking the tank!!

I also wanted to mention Finn's frag racks on here. I have 2 different styles from him and they work great, but the rectangle magnet one if my favorite!!! Thanks again Finn!!!

I like the single magnet one, but if I bump is slightly it moves. I have them both in the tank with zoanthids on them and there both very strong!! Thanks again!!

i new i had a picture of my sisters some where around here they look pretty similar except mike takes why better picture than i do

why cant i have enough money to buy a macro lense why

Fatboy, what camera body are you using? I shoot a lot of my pics with a Tamron 70-300 as well. The only thing is they aren't a true macro, since it won't give a 1/1 ratio. But it's still not a bad lens for the price. Up until just a few months ago, most of my tank pictures were taken with that lens.

Pentax k110d had it for a little over 2 years now i think

i dont know what it is but the white balace just wont work right it is usaully off but on that pic that is exactlly what it looks like

Angie will kill me if I clutter up her Nano thread with photography stuff...lol. Start a thread in the Photography forum, with some pics and information about your camera. I think I might have some pointers for you, regarding what settings you're using when taking pics, custom white balance...etc. There's also a few other people on RF that are AMAZING photographers that I'm sure will chime in with some great advice!! Besides, we all need an excuse to have another thread, full of pictures, to look at!!

Well, I figured I would do a brief update. We got a new fish today and it was the Tail spot Blenny that I've been wanting for a long time now. The whole reason for this Nano is so that I could have one of these fish. We just released it tonight and I'm hoping to get some pictures of the new addition tomorrow and some of the new corals we've added as well.
