I tried a T. Crocea in my 26g under T5's. Lasted 2yrs.
Hopefully this ones does better. I've always loved the small giant clams.

Some things are others not so much. Don?t t think my CC and Blasto Merletti like the LEDs much, always pinched up. Certain Zoa?s melting away.
Honestly I?m just seeing more of what I don?t like about it then what I do....if I didn?t have so much invested I?d probably take it down. Oh and one of two shrooms melted away.

That sucks. Winter is coming though. Sometimes winter can kick start interest again....
A new fish might do that too...

Nothing new happening with my tank. Kind of stagnant to be honest. I've seem to have lost interest....

I've gone through periods of lower interest. Seems to match up with summers. Then once I'm forced back inside because of the weather my interest picks back up and I deal with the issues that came up from the neglect over the summer.

I've always had trouble keeping zoanthids and mushrooms with leds.
Also my blastos don't seem to care too much for the intensity either. Not much growth and they have stayed pretty small, compact.
I'm going to put the T5 fixture back over the 50 pretty soon

I figured as much. Can?t turn em down because of the Clam, which is doing surprisingly well.
I?m not out much no matter the weather.
Honestly having lost our yearly tax return and being dependent on that to get the bigger items needed to sustain my tank, I?m now afraid. Every year I?d get things like new test kits, salt mix and RO/DI filters, needed or not I?d buy them to stalk up. Now I don?t know what the hell Im gonna do and it hurts.
Bottom line is if I can?t afford the upkeep I gotta let it go.

Not enough growth to support the tank in lfs credit either?

We don?t have an LFS that deals in SW. I really didn?t think I?d get to this point.
I haven?t tested parameters in several months. Haven?t done a WC in almost 2 months. Changing sock, cleaning skimmer cup and keeping RO reservoir filled and feeding everything, that?s all I?m doing.
Hate going through my pics to see all the corals I?ve lost, so I delete them.
I?ve never felt so discouraged....

Felt so dang guilty after my posts I finally did a WC. I?m just pitiful lol

No not really. I really slacked off on WC's this summer.
In fact I'm going to remove everything and start over on the big tank.
Majano infestation got bad.
