t5 ho ballast

Hello,
I am looking at DIY T5 high output lighting. There is a huge disparity between prices. I understand the differences in reflectors, however don't understand the difference in ballasts. What is the difference between the ice cap, workhorse, advanced, or the ballasts used by sun systems? Why is ice cap so much more expensive?

I would think they all are fairly good ballast, maybe the IC has a better reliability record maybe?
