Hey give me a call and let me know. I am trying to figure this damn plumbing out. I am trying to order all of the required unions and really hitting a brickwall. I pulled up the specs on the pump I am using and it is calling for a 1.5" in and out. I measured the in and out and it is 2". So back to the drawing board.

So I think that I am good now. I am going to go ahead and get started on the plumbing. I ordered the following today

ABS BLACK FPT x FPT 1-1/2 Bulkhead
1.5 inch pump union (x2) input/output
1.5inch Gate Valve
1.5 SLP x 1.5 FPT 90 Elbow
45 degree 3/4 inch elbow (x6)
1.5 by .75 reducer bushing (x2)
I figure that I am just going to break down and buy T-fittings from HomeDEpot

So they should be here soon. I still have no stand besides the wobbly one I built, I mean my daughter built, OK I can not blame it on her, it was bad wood from home depot. It shrunk in places it shouldn't have and grew in others. Damn bad wood

Sorry, I got super busy last night. Stupid Housing rules about not being able to keep a boat hooked up to your truck over night so you can go halibut fishing the next day... ugggh :mad::mad:

All of those unions, elbows, and everything else are carried at home depot. I would use 2" 90's with reducer bushings to 1.5" to cut down on your back pressure at your bends. If you have the room, using 2 45 degree angles would work better. I know I'm a little late as you've already ordered, but just something to keep in mind if you find you need more plumbing parts.

Well I did go down to Home depot and looked around there and though they do have a lot of the required PVC parts. I was introduced to the www.flexpvc.com And they have everything that you could possibly think of. I was on the website and was thinking of all the possibilities. Besides any website that sells pre-made marshmallow guns has my support.

Oh and I forgot to order the one item that I really was on there for in the first place a 1.5" true wye, I originally was going to go with a traditional wye but decided to go with the manifold wye which has both outlets side by side instead at 45's. I had to call them back and their customer support was awesome. The guy on the phone ran out to the warehouse to see if my order had been shipped (I ordered last night) and it had. So they just put it into a box and made the second shipment at no extra charge. So after ten minutes of this guy running around making sure that my package got sent out. He came back and let me know that it is on it's way.

And hey NAte if you are implying that my craftsmanship is not up to par, then I think you and my wife are on the same page. She also was kind enough to tell me that I was "SPECIAL" and not a carpenter.

So got all of the wiring into the hood. All of the lights are mounted and ready to go. I think that they look good. We will see how it goes.

lol i m just yankin your chain. keep up the good work

Yeah I know, just thought I would give it back. But really my wife told me I ride the short bus when it comes to carpentry, and I am OK with that. I still say that the wood shrank right after I cut it.

So no update as of yet. I am still trying to acquire a stand that does not lean like that tower in Pisa. Even though it worked out pretty good for them I am not sure if I have their kind of skills.

I would also like to take this time and say thanks to Tim at Barrier Reef. I have been seriously frustrated the last couple of weeks trying to find a union that fits the dolphin pump that I have. I googled so much that the only thing that came up was a message from google, that said "You have already searched here, it is no longer available, please stop utilizing all of the bandwidth for your obviously rediculous search, and call BARRIER REEF." SO I did. And sure enough they had everything that I was looking for. To shorten this up, "YOU GUYS ROCK"

IT is I ran into a shortage on cash and just need to get down there. Been hectic, had a death in the family, and had to get a family law lawyer. So that took up what ever little bit of cash I had left. So the stand is there at Island pets just waiting on me to get it. Anyone out there need tattoo work.
