When will Krish start a new tank?

The problem with being an individual homeowner dealing with a contractor is that there is generally too little chance of repeat business. So a sub (like a person installing an air-conditioning system) is more likely to respond to a builder with multiple jobs than an individual with one-time work.

Unfortunate but typical.

Don, this guy does work for my wife's company which is a big company. One that everyone runs to do work for. My wife is second in charge there under her uncle that owns it. These guys know that, deal with her on a weekly basis, but just don't care. We got the bill for the install. $1400. They said only $600 was labor. The rest was for parts and the carpenter. They said they will send a truck to collect everything. It's almost 2 weeks now and they haven't come yet. Bums!!

Lol! I never saw the guy. My wife called this guy before she even talked to me. The guy I use takes one day and will work till midnight if he has to to get it done. Guess she thought their guy would do the same. Next time I'm sure she will check with me first

No they know her personally. She deals with their company basically every week. They either figured they could get away with murder because they know she is nice or they figured they could take their sweet time. I guess where they always use them they figured she had no choice but to wait on them...

As for me really getting a tank, it won't be any time soon. Too much going on to invest the time and energy into it. I have the will to do it just not the time juggling work and especially family life. One day hopefully soon though. Not setting up something just because. I want to setup something I really want

Well you know if you stopped mod patrol you would have plenty of time to play. What’s your count up to these days? Like 4.7 billion or so! This is including the PM count too. Now that’s got to take up some time. hehe

Well in that case I know I’ve seen some fish shoes on ebay or better yet the fish tank toilet bowl. That’s a cool one. How about virtual fish tank on his Iphone.

By the way Krish, I voted never. Why have a lame fish tank in the house when you live in the middle of a huge reef???

Very true!! I guess it's good to have for winter months when I don't go in the water and also they are fun to build. On the post count...Lol! It only takes 5 mins to major damage here . I'll post it between jobs or when I take a little break etc. I have cut down quite a bit though. Trying to give others a chance to participate and not hog it all lol. Been ages since I even started a discussion thread or even a poll.
