    The cables are not y shaped. They are straight cables with clips on both ends. Each end clips to the fixture on one side. Then the other cable attaches to that one.

    I have these on my tank and they have a controller dimmer. Each set of white and blue are on separate plugs and dimmers so you can manually dim them. You should be able to control them with the apex controllers. I am running 3 of these on my 60x24x24 reef. Love them.

    check out mighty magnets. made in oregon aquarium algae cleaning magnets they are killer magnets and last forever. also get the algae socks and algae dozer. works wonders on coraline and hard algae.

    Welcome to the led club bro. I am loving mine. Not the same units but the same 3 watt Cree and 10 white and 10 blue. Blue is awesome when on alone. My temps are now manageable with out the chiller. My couple acros have a ton of new growth.

    I was there For the show on Saturday but I parked around the corner and only paid $6 to park. I was not about to pay $12 to park. The little side street about a block down was mostly empty. The event was fun and got to see alot of old faces and new ones. Could not have asked for a Better weekend...

    Nice pics. My same LEDs are performing awesome. I had a couple acros that were lost causes and they now have a dozen or more new stocks and coloring up in the 8 weeks of new LEDs from mh. I am extremely happy with my results.

    Looks good. I just switched to LEDs myself and love them. I have mine mounted 16" or so off the tank and mine are dimable and have mine at half power right now. Mine are 10x3w Cree blue and 10x3w Cree white. 3 units replacing 3x250w hqi's. Keep us posted on your results.

    Looking good. That tank looks like the old petco plant display tanks. I had one that was 2 tired and used it for a fish only in the top one and a reef in the lower one. Great tanks. Keep us posted.

    That's just from the camera. Can't see it with the naked eye. I have just the blues on right now and man those are intense. It's even on the lower setting. I love the color too. Thanks. My tank is 5ft so with a 6 foot you would need 4.
