Congratulations man! I was a nervous wreck when i had mine! But it isnt nearly as bad as you would think. Theres NOTHING in the world that is more enjoyable than watching yours grow up. +1 for taking the kid everywhere. Car rides are the best! My daughter would fall asleep before we got to the end of the driveway. Also, congrats on the new tank.

That is great news D,
I know you cant tell us much about your first unborn, but you CAN give us some details about the new tank.

For What its Worth spend your pennies wisely...... Diapers and collage will be expensive. LOL

No kidding about time flying my son will be a teenager this June!!

My dad always made time for us no matter how many hours he worked or whatever else was going on and did things with us we liked to do, Ive done the same with my man-child just make time is what Im getting at!! My .02 to the advice column!

Devin

congrats on the tank and the baby

Being a father of 3, it is completely normal to be nervous..I was for mine; you will also make mistakes, this is also normal..trust me..i've made my share...basically you are creating your own book on how to raise your child which is the best part of being a parent....keep in mind, baby first, tank second. (you gain bonus pts with the wife if you think this way).

Thxs everyone! A new adventure for me. Deff crazy but good if that makes sense.
Think she will let me name it devin. Boy or girl dont matter.

So my tips rrrrrr. Save $, take baby everywhere we go, make time cuz it gies quick(which im realizing), and baby 1st/tank 2nd.
Got any tips nata? I need the ladys perspective! Or mothers touch or watever. Gf said she hopes its a girl so itll soften me up lol...
Lots to do indeed. Baby room and landscaping. Hoping the tank swap will go smooth.

Guess its time to lead by example. Dont want my baby shoping for coral in pjs do we...

Tank is 48x20x21" i believe. Starphire with two more pieces running longways almost like eurobracing. It will have holes in em at the ends with bulkheads and locline for return. False wall with no teeth. Hoping to keep the water level out of sight. Right now my current 75g has the black trim showing so im a bit sceptical their. Im just replacing the Dt but hoping for a terrific outcome. Lol.
Idk still in the begining stages. Tank will take like 6 weeks to cure i think eric said. Two drains to feed the sump from both sides. Im gonna go dark on my sump too. I want just lr and dsb...no macro or turf scrubber.
