Yup..the only issue I have with the clamps, etc. is they tend to rust easily/quickly..otherwise a great investment.

Nice coat of rustoleam before you put them into service extends that a bit... and at worst, that is really just a little extra GFO in the system. :)

lol, you guys are reading it more than once? heck, i only apologized for the length of it once i think..so let me just add
sorry
sorry
sorry. (hopefully thats one more than needed but if you let me knwo, i'll add a few more)

Stacey,

I have a new name for you.

Dissertation Stacey.

:)

(that was a compliment btw) ;)

so, i now feel pressured to decide on the sand bed and rock at least, since the fuge is leak testing.
i ordered a couple of dj power strips to help organize my cords, and i grabbed some boards to build a box for them... so maybe i can put the descision off until after i build the box.. lol

i keep telling myself that that is when i will stop procrastinating.. tomorrow.

oh, it was terribly long, but i either have 10 words, or 1000's it seems.
it sucks once you've done the researc and understand the best you can... because then you have to do the hard part.. actually make a descision and live with it. lol

any advice on swapping the sump out? i mean, it sounds simple in my head
drain
remove equipment
move the new sump/stand into place
i'll have to replumb a bit on the overflow in because of the height
replace equipment

i'm sure there will be a bunch of problems in between those things, so i'd like to try to prep.
is it better to let the pvc glue go overnight or a couple of days? when i did it previously, it water tested (with tap) for a while before i swapped the water out for for salt.... i've read about people using it right after glueing, just not sure i'm ok with that...
