Happy Reeffing!!!!

oops,

The large birdsnest is not an LE. It was grown from a small wild colony.
The purple bonsai is actually a GARF purple bonsai, not ora.

Thanks SeaMonster! Id be interested in seeing pix of your build! Nice Trim work, i just wing it.... loads of caulk. It would be nice to get a mider saw, not just a worm drive.

Well, my Reefkeeper blew out! i was running Way to many amps through it....So i had to replace it! Neptune AquaController3..... a DC8, and 2 HD DC4's lab grade probes, and 2 days into seting it up and its GREAT!!!!!!! What a powerfull tool. Im still trying to get it to do my laundry and dishes.... maybe in a few more days of studyin.... lol

Im happy to say that ive got more functionality then my brain could imagine.(Wife would agree)

Anyone have any Good practices that they use?

Happy Reeffing

wow, it only took you 2 days to program it. It took me twice as long.. ur smarter :D:D:D:D. They do take a little getting used to, don't they? well have fun and don't forget to copy and paste your program into a word doc or something so that you save it. I've accidentally erased my programming 2 times now and I wish I took my own advice on 1 of them. I know Jan has accidentally erased her's too and so just a little word to the wise. save it in a safe location just in case.

also I don't know if your into checking status remotely, but if you get yourself a free web address, it's kind of fun. here's who I got mine through. http://www.dyndns.com/

And then they have these signature writing programs which you can get through http://www.reefchat.org/ and bring them over to reeffrontiers..

these things are very cool.good luck and let us know how the washer and dryer works out for you :D

We also changed our lighting from 3 400W Ushio 10,000Ks to 3 400W Ushio 14,000Ks w/ 6 24W ATI BluPlus T5s and the tank looks soo much better now. I love the new lights and color they put off.

The 14Ks eliminate the yellow of the 10Ks. With the T5s we get a light blue tint. I'll update the pics sometime this weekend.

ClassClown: did you buy aquanotes or just use the free download version?

Brandy

I did buy it, but actually don't use it at all. The webbased version is what I use. personally I wouldnt' spend the money on the program. I think you'll find it's not necessary.
