WOW! Fantastic, almost unbelievable that only 10% power gets that kind of output huh? I'm still seeing spots from test firing my LED's last night at about 70%

Really good to have friends like Dave and Floyd around to give that helping hand.

Lets not forget Stuart (Hersey) for all his hours of helping with the soldering and assembly of the actual lights. This is truly a tank built by a village.

HA! I'll have to think about that one. :rolleyes: Not sure which Village person I would relate to...

Very cool to see your build project come together. It's like a model airplane... you look at all the pieces before you start and think Oh wow, what did I get myself into... then at the end you have something really cool and hopefully not too many pieces left over. :)
 
Fantastic job on the LED's those look fantastic. I am curious though, I may have missed it in the thread. what was the purpose of modifying the optic holder?
 
The optic holders that showed up were not the ones ordered. instead of shipping then back and waiting weeks for replacements we made lemonade with our lemons

Went and saw these last night and they are really really sweet. I would have put money down that with them being so low that their would be issues, but man they look good. I was really impressed on the crisp look they had in the tank themselves, their is no way you could tell they were LEDS they looked just like MH's shimmer and all. The colors on the corals to.......really made them pop out, same with the fish!!.

Congrates very tight and clean workmanship..best led setup I have seen to date..cant say that enough.

Yah yah great work :blah::blah::blah: but we need to see close-ups and zooming in-n-out and don't forget dazzle-n-glimmer..... I'm still waiting...:popcorn:
