Oh yeah I see it. Nice! Does it get much light there in the corner? Just asking cause mine love direct light but not sure if that's cause I've always had it in direct light and med flow....?

its a bit shaded there and its opening..i had it in direct light and its a bit retracted so when i moved it there its opening nicely...its just weird when lights are off it retracts too much..like its all skeleton all poking, and mouth open...is that normal?then when lights on its back to puffy again...and mouth shut:confused:

Maybe mine just likes direct light. Oh well if it seems to be doing better there then I'd keep it there.

Yes, when my lights are off it gets super small down to the skeleton and you can just see the lips of the mouth. I'll try to get pic tonight and post it so you can compare.

yeah it is so weird..the first night i have it i freaked out i thought its dying or something..then the next day it puffs back up...the flesh is so delicate..and yes please show me a picture of yours when retracted at night so i can compare if mine is normal...im looking at mine right now and its all bubbly..

I reacted the same way but now I know its normal. Yes the tissue is very delicate. In my old tank when I would do water changes I would siphon out the top and then pour premixed salt water into the top. Once not all my salt dissolved and when the last bit of water was poured out along came a bunch of concentrated salt! To my luck it landed on my bubble and instantly dissolved like 3 bubbles, part of the mouth and exposed part of the skeleton. I literally swore outloud and though I just killed my favorite critter. Luckily it grew back in a few months cause I fed the crap out of it. Now where it grew back it actually has a really cool green swirly color on the pink top, battle scar!
