Awesome! What will you be dosing in your tank out of curiosity?

Oh and guess who I found at Petco yestday.... two of the cutest little Scarlet legged crabs, I had to get them :) Now to fish out my emerald and blue leg crabs.....

I've been manually dosing 10ml of CA/ALK 2x a day for 6 months. Having it automated is going to be a big treat. Than having my top off also controlled by the Doser will eliminate a pump, & jbj ATO unit.
That's awesome on the Scarlet Hermits. Hopefully you get the Blue Legs out before they kill them.

Marc does make some pretty stuff. If I didn't have room for jugs and stuff, I would likely think about getting something from him.

Does the doser come with a float for water level sensing, or are you guessing at the top off amount?

I'm guessing. I go through about 1g a day, which is about 3785.41178ml-ROFLLMAO!! I don't know how many ml per hour the pump will do.

Tanks doing great! Loving this Gyre pump. Soooo many different flow choices. My LPS are showing sweepers, feeding responses before the lights go out. Not something I've seen from them before this pump. I'm running it at just 20% on pulse mode. Tried 40% but almost blew the water out of the tank-lol.
Still waiting on my reservoir combo. Been 3wks since I placed the order....

Tomorrows our 3rd annual swap. Very excited! I'll be picking up a new T. Maxima and I'm sure several new corals :)

+1 lookin good nana ;)
Corals r starting to form colonies! No pic of the pretty new pump? I heard those r a bit noisy turned up anyway.
Keep at it.

If anyone is turning these pumps up so high that they're hearing them, than they're either using them on to big of a tank, or they haven't fully read the instructions. Too they may not comprehend them. They are hard to get use to when you've been running a Vortech, Jabeo, or Tunze for years. You can control so much of your flow. Change paddles, raise/lower cages, place it vertical or horizontal. All this before you even start to program the dang thing!! I haven't even scratched the surface yet-lol.
Honestly at 40% this XF-130 pushes so much water on my 3' tank, that for the 5sec I had it there my corals got majorly PO'D! Talk about a sand storm-lol.
Best thing is no matter where I place it, it always covers my entire tank. At just 20%. I don't hear a sound coming from it.
Yes, I for one like this pump. You will not hear me speak often nor highly about reefing equipment. This in one of my few exceptions.

Holy moly!! Did I make a haul at the frag swap!! 9 new corals in all, plus a T. Maxima :) Arcos, Favia's, Chalices, one of which is a Mummy Eye, and even a couple frags of Zoas. Not a booger frag in the bunch-lol.
Stay tuned for pics as they settle in and I get them placed. Small as it was, the swap was a success for all 3 vendors. Had some awesome raffle prizes. Big plans for next years. With much better planning advertising wise and a better date. We weren't aware of it being Spring Break in a University town.
I'm a very happy reefer :)

bubble gum monster lol is a nickname or common name used for a chalice coral.
Looks like a pink eye chalice 2 me. Luv all the sps.
