Hopefully this works.
But I'm wondering,,,,,,,,,if it works as advertised and the crud goes away. Do you have to keep using it, in a maintenance dosage?

Yes to Reef version. It's definitely doing something. My skimmer is nasty and half full within 2 days. My Filters socks are worse! As of this evening sand bed is still clean. No ill effects on livestock or corals at all.
I do gotta say though my SB is getting pretty darn thin. I can also see just how bad it solidified around the bottom of the rock, my Candy Cane, my Christmas Favia, and my Acans. It's terrible! Never seen sand do this before.

Vibrant states you can stop or continue using as part of your maintenance program.

Look at the bottom of the rock. That's all solid sand, literally rock hard. It's like this under all my rock.

That's most likely from the ca and alk. It binds arragonite sand into concrete.

It's raining on my fooking parade!!! Lol First my ATO dies and now today my return pump dies! So I had to take this loud as heck mag out of my reservoir and am now using it as my return. Lucky I had it available right?!

I cannot believe this poop!!! Not just one but both my RW4's kicked the bucket today!! While disconnecting one from it's controller sparks actually shot out of da hole-lol. Scared the heck outta me.

Y'all think I'm supposed to be reefing?

Did another WC, removing more SB. However today I decided to add some new to the bare bottom areas. Just a small area to begin with about a 2 1/2 cups worth. WOW it's pretty!!

Big shout out to @mfinn for once again coming to this reefers rescue. My tank now has the best flow going on. Didn't know so much crap was caught up in my rock until I turned on the new Jebao's PP8's. Yes they're monsters but I'm a futuristic thinking kinda woman as in always open to going bigger-lol.
My tank is doing wonderful of late. SB cleared up. Corals all thriving. Banggai on the mend.
Couple weeks I'll be adding some carbon via a reactor. Changing out my DI resin after 8-9 months use not bad at all I'd say.
I'm so stoked that my Clam is doing so well.

I entered a Algae Barn contest on FB and I WON!! Tons and tons of pods. 3 mixes along with some phytoplankton. Trading a bit with a local reefer for some chaeto and I'll be good to go.

Look who was out and about tonight! Scared the heck outta him with my flashlight but had to get some pics. Fed him a chunk of Reef Frenzy.

Looks like my SB issue migrated to the back wall. As you can see I cleaned an area. This wall will be completely covered again within a week. It's brown not green.

Seriously?! Are the back walls black on yours too? Just curious if that has anything to do with it-lol.
Took a couple shots of my favorite corals, came out kinda nice.

No black back walls. My sides and front will do that too though it takes more time to get 'solid'

Well since my winnings of 20,000+ (I don't see that many) pods from Algae Barn arrived today, I've decided to stop dosing Vibrant. It kills Chaeto fast. It's also caused an outbreak of green/red Cyano. Seems to be a common by product. Cant have pods in my fuge without chaeto. Plus I miss a working fuge.
I did however break down and cleaned it out. Removed all substrate and a few pieces of strange rock.

2am and I get the idea to move my lil Florida Ric down to my sump. Wanna see if it'll grow/thrive under a 7w LED. 7 LEDs running at 1 watt each:
2 White LED @10000k kelvin
1 White LED @6500k kelvin
2 Royal Blue LED @ 450 nanometers
1 Violet LED @ 410 nanometers
1 Red LED @ 660 nanometers
