good job Todd... now if you can only share the secret with me...

The first one there is just a Nana, the chesterfield is a light green color now. In the second picture the red coral was sold as a milli but Dang and I suspect it is a Prostrata since the coral structure looks more like Prostrata. The orange one in the back there is one of Dangs digitatas.
I will be getting a CD from Dang of all the pictures he took, you are welcome to any you would like a copy of. I can even bring it out to you, it will give me an excuse to come visit.
Secret? No secret, I saw a big change in everything when I went to the Radium with HQI ballast in a luminarc III mini reflector, and started running a CaRx.

This one Dang....

I will take a pic of mine... I think they are brothers that came from Elmos mother colony...

excuse me Tod,,,
Ceasar,,last pic fo #227 is Chesterfielddensis,
going to plan your trip soon:)

That one is a piece that broke off of one I got from Mike (herefishyfishy), it was thought to be a tri, but as it is coloring up and changing looks more like a Nana to me. The Chestaerfielddensis I got from you is next to the montipora conf. in this shot (out of focus to the right)

which is tenius. I believe. it has been a while.
also i agree on the prostrata. the structure does look that way but growth and thickness of branches has a lot to do with flow.

Not sure either, since it was being sold as ORA chips, but the chips, roscoe, and tenius all look so much alike.

Any updates? Also how did you hang the lumenarc? Please explain how you made it and what materials were used...:)

Thanks!

Nothing real special, in fact it is rather ghetto

Bought everything at HD, just got a piece of square aluminum 1x1, cut it to size, then I bent a piece of flat aluminum (they have angle pieces, just couldnt find them when I was there). screwed it together with some stainless nut/bolt and there you are. I drilled it directly to the back of the stand. I have a buddy that can weld aluminum that is going to hook me up with a stand and light support of my design later.

No real updates lately, just letting everything grow now. I will get some pictures up later after I do some tank maint.:p

if you can, try to use aluminum rivets instead of SS screws. The SS will work but there is a reaction between disimilar metals, especially iron and aluminum.

Ghetto? looks pretty damn good to me..."ghetto" would be a coat hanger!

Did you check out the shoe string I'm using to keep the back end of the luminarc up?
