So to get the water to flow thru the rock instead of just over the top of the chamber, are you going to add a directional baffle?

You must of had a nightmare about the skimmer now it seems you going to a HOB style.

What size pumps are you going with?

Going to run any media? Carbon maybe?

the flow will be two mj 1200's with prop mods, it should move water through the rock pretty good?
skimmer, just didn't want to interrupt the flow with a box'
media no, never have But! I have found a source for my substrate (its a secret hehe)

I can handle the substrate secret, but the way you are going to get your 1200s to pull the water thru your chamber will keep me up at night.

I do agree with you about the skimmer. I never like to have my box interrupted.

Need more info on your flow configuration!!!!!

don't think ReturnofSid will like that lol.
mj with prop mod, they draw through the cage and blow out the front, sump wall has a reciever socket that holds the front edge of the cage, water drawn from sump area forced into tank creating a void quickly filled with water from the intake side lol

fun weekend! ball hat, safety glasses, gloves and garbage bag shirt it was glass cutting time woohoo that wasn't fun, cuts are good but the fine glass dust was creepy even with the water wheel, also got my super fine glass bead for substrate, one more tank to move and the stand can get built
