    See if you can rent/borrow a 50 mm and a 100mm before you buy. I borrowed my buddy's 100mm and I really enjoyed the shots I was able to take. Experiment then go buy : )

    I still have some green coraline, but pink/purple and red now taken over. Green coralene never hurt my tank, it's just that the pink and reds are nicer to look at IMP.

    My GSM attacks me as well but has never drawn blood, but my GSM has trained my yellow tail damsel to do the same thing. So when ever I go in the tanks I'm getting hit by these 2little buggers.

    I thought I read somewhere on the forum that "all purpose sand" was full of silicates, and should not be used. You might want research this to avoid any potential issues down the road.

    What diseases can one catch? Is there a specific disease/s related to saltwater? I know staph is everywhere, so I don't go about my day worring about it. Any info would be appriciated.
