Anyone with a custom nano <20 gallons? Please post pics...

I am currently working on a 2.5. It will house mainly corals and possibly a shrimp. Sexy shrimp maybe? I am hoping to place monti, frogspawn, zoos/palys, xenia, and a shroom or 2.

    DIY HOOD

I wouldn't go without something that would like the entire hood hoop. It is going to be large and heavy. If you ever wanted to re-landscape the tank it could be difficult without.

    sea hare

Look for my thread on the gash on mine. It is nasty. I can see the tissue healing but this may take some time. EDIT:http://www.reeffrontiers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=42340&highlight=hare

    sea hare

That is a cut. Mine just cut itself on its belly and has been doing the same thing. Leave him some algae sheets where he is most comfortable and let him heal.

    How to glue softies....

I have several pieces of rubble in the tank so I think that I will do that. There is a small hole on one that is perfect to fit the stalk of the colt in but a colt seems to have a bit of buoyancy and just floats off. So I will toothpick it and possible rubber band it to the rock. I have...

    How to glue softies....

So with the toothpick I would poke the coral (colt) vertically up its "trunk" and then slide the remaining in a rock? Or are you talking horizontally?

    How to glue softies....

I have some small frag of different things that will not attach to anything on their own so how do I glue them, safely? I have read that you just get some superglue gel and attach them that way. Is that correct?

NEED HELP!!! Massive cut on sea hare!

UPDATE: It is still alive in the 29. I left him in the DT because he was eating and I didn't want to have him out of water with the cut. I am thinking that he is healing. As for the cut being natural, it isn't. It is definitely a cut because I could see the bloody scar tissue around the...

    brown algae

I would get some snails. Additionally I would do like the above posters and add flow to the entire tank. If it comes to it softly scrubs it off of the rocks and get as much as you can out.

NEED HELP!!! Massive cut on sea hare!

There is a picture. You can see the gash clearly. I can tell that it is in a lot of pain but it is trying its best to eat. Should I put it out of its misery or just wait and see if it is trying to heal? EDIT: I don't have a QT tank to put this guy in just yet. I do on the other hand have a...

NEED HELP!!! Massive cut on sea hare!

I just walked past my tank and saw my sea hare cruising and noticed a flap on my sea hare. I picked him up to see what the flap was and he has a massive gash on his stomach. I can see his stomach but it is eating. WHAT SHOULD I DO?!
